Body Sculpting: The Truth About Your Options (Part 2)

If you read Part 1 of this article, then you already know about the various kinds of liposuction and why it’s not a good idea to sculpt your body using these surgical methods.  In short, these procedures not only carry a good deal of risk, but you may be disappointed with your results.

This time I’d like to tell you about one of the BEST ways to sculpt your body.  A way that gives you lasting results. A way that has virtually no risk associated with it. A method that’s going to make you feel good both inside and out.

But before I get to my favorite body-sculpting method, I wanted to touch on another option: mesotherapy.

The idea behind mesotherapy is that the doctor injects pharmaceutical or homeopathic combination of chemicals, vitamins, herbs and other ingredients directly into your fat layer. This combination is supposed to target your adipose tissue, rupture it and basically “kill” the fat.

There are two big problems with mesotherapy:

1. The injection ingredients aren’t standard. That means that the doctor can pick and choose what to include in the injection. This can lead to some very unpleasant or even dangerous side effects.

2. It’s questionable whether the procedure even works. The procedure hasn’t been studied extensively, perhaps because there isn’t any agreement about what to put in the syringe. And thus many doctors don’t even believe that it works.

In other words, mesotherapy is neither a safe NOR effective alternative to the various kinds of liposuction.

Now despite all the rather negative news I’ve delivered to you in these two articles, I do want you to know there’s a safe, natural, effective and lasting way to sculpt your body.

The answer? Through a good nutrition and exercise program.  This program includes:

  • A good diet. This means cutting out processed, sugary and packaged foods in favour of eating a balanced diet of wholesome sources of carbohydrates, proteins and essential fatty acids. The right diet will help you shed fat while giving your body what it needs to firm and tone.
  • HIIT (high intensity interval training) cardio. This should be your first choice in cardio, because it retains your body-shaping muscle while getting rid of the unsightly fat.
  • Bodyweight or resistance training. These workouts help you lift, tone and sculpt your body. This is what you can use to create the long-term results. And if you tone the muscles under your cellulite, you can even make the cellulite smooth out and disappear!

Yes, this takes some commitment. And yes, it takes some time to get results. But consider it a good thing. If you sculpt your body surgically and the doctor makes a mistake, there’s nothing you can do about it.  In just a couple hours you can ruin your body.

Not so with natural body sculpting. Because it happens over time, you can “tweak” your nutrition and workouts to be sure you lift, tone and sculpt every body part just the way you like it. And that means the results will be far better than you ever anticipated!

Bottom line: if you want to sculpt your body, the safest and most effective way to do it is through a diet and exercise program.  Plus not only will natural body sculpting make you look great on the outside, it will make you FEEL great on the inside, too.
